PATCHES Paediatrics and PATCHES Therapy Services– Innovations in Telepractice to maintain service delivery:

    • PATCHES aims to maintain service delivery to support our clients during the COVID19 crisis; by delivering the majority of our diagnostic and therapy services via Telepractice (Zoom videoconference or telephone).
    • Our clinicians have developed Diagnostic batteries for Autism, ADHD, FASD and other conditions; and Therapy approaches that will be implemented via Telepractice and in some instances with a locally based Diagnostic or Therapy Assistant.
    • Our clinicians need our clients to seek ongoing service activity, in order to maintain our workforce viability. Please do not cancel a service with PATCHES, rather request it to be delivered via Telepractice.

    Supporting and growing PATCHES workforce:

    • PATCHES is committed to providing continuity of employment for our fixed term and casual staff wherever possible. This includes maximising service delivery with our existing client base, reducing clinic overhead costs where possible, and improving our practice efficiencies.
    • Initiatives to retain staff through paid professional development and training, and involvement in service model improvement processes, will be implemented.
    • Training and support for Work From Home and a Virtual Office environment is underway to provide a seamless transition of support to our clinical staff.
  • Services for children & adults

    Healthy young people succeed better.
