Dianne Raby has been a long time PATCHES employee, she has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology and has worked as a paediatric speech therapist for more than twenty years and in the disability field for more than ten years. Dianne is experienced in providing services to children with a range of disabilities including for example: Kabuki Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Autism, FASD, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X, Tubular Sclerosis, DMD and other degenerative and genetic conditions. She has held roles with District Hospital, Carnarvon Regional Hospital, Therapy Focus, Rocky Bay and PATCHES-Paediatrics. She has worked in the Health Department and Disability Services Commission, as well as for a number of private practices in Perth. She has had training with PATCHES Paediatrics in the field of FASD and Autism assessment and management and is part of the PATCHES multi-disciplinary team. She has also been involved with supervising student Speech Pathologists from both Edith Cowan and Curtin Universities over a number of years, including being awarded Metropolitan Supervisor of the Year in 2005.
