Jessica Hannan is a paediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about assisting children develop skills to live their life to their full potential. Jessica enjoys working with teachers, preschool teachers, service providers and families to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes are achieved for her clients. Jessica loves engaging with children to help them participate in activities they find meaningful and purposeful to their health and well being. Jessica loves being an occupational therapist and her energy and enthusiasm is something that assists her build effective rapport with her clients. Jessica specialises in fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) and also enjoys working children from a multitude of diagnosis'(i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Anxiety, Epilepsy).
In other facts about Jess, she once came 2nd in a pie eating contest at the Moruya show (always the bridesmaid, never the bride). She has double jointed elbows which is why she didn't make it as a dancer but does make for cool party tricks (real winner). Has an innate habit to run into furniture. Has possibly been known to snort when laughing. Some of her teenage clients also thinks she is in year 12 at the local high school. Jessica also speaks in 3rd person when she gets nervous. The image below is a drawing one of her preschoolers did of her. They told Jessica she was "the larger one" in comparison to the other OT in the room.
